It’s stronger 💪🏼 You have to put a lot of stuff in a hamster home to keep your little friend happy! There’s bedding, sand, the wheel, hides, tunnels etc etc etc. The weight can add up quickly to 20kg+. Many cages we saw before we started Bandaby couldn’t handle the strain of a full set up and panels would pop out. With this new version of our home, we tested it with +80kg of weight inside and it did not budge even a millimetre!
It’s MUCH easier to assemble 🤝🏼 Our home is like a big piece of furniture and we want it to be as easy as possible to put together! We worked super hard & obsessed over 100 little details to make assembly much, much easier with the No. 2!
New Colour! 🤩 We have introduced our favourite colour yet - Terracotta Pink! The idea came from a stunning exhibition at Casa Cor in São Paulo - a design event celebrating all of the best interior designer and architects from around Brazil! We looked at a few different variations and our community helped us pick the final colour!

Upgrading from a 100 to a 120 length I wanted to ensure I was making the correct investment, I took the plunge and am never going back! It’s very strong and sturdy, the bedding acrylic sides are so strong & durable and it’s so easy to get into!! Spot cleans are a breeze and my rescue hammy that never seemed to dig much now makes so many burrows! She transitioned to the new set up so well and is so happy to now be in the lounge with us. She gets pen time & free roam time with us on the couch thanks to this amazing set up! The customer service as well, second to none, thank you so much for taking my feedback and providing so much help & advice!
Truly the best hamster home I’ve seen out there. Millie is loving the space and burrowing possibilities, also the four doors with magnets make it super easy to open and access any side while still secure shut.

The one thing I found hard was putting it together, but once you commit to possibly forcing the holes wider (for example with a screwdriver like I did) so they align better, it makes everything fit in place securely.

I managed to put the home together by myself, the instructions were extremely clear. The video step-by-step was a nice touch.
I had a small issue at the beginning when one panel was incorrect, but the founder, Hal, was so lovely and resolved it incredibly quickly and even paid for express shipping for the replacement which I find extremely kind.
I really admire the effort gone into this home, you can just see how much they genuinely care for the welfare of hamsters. Every little detail has been so thought out, it’s just perfect.

Everything arrived perfectly organized, making the setup process soo easy! The home itself is even more impressive - the quality and design are outstanding. I genuinely am in a awwee wouldn’t be able find anything better than this. Every detail feels carefully considered, and it really shows. 1,000,000/10! The Bandaby home is absolutely amazing. Spacious, practical and superior quality. It is SOLID. There’s so much room for enrichment and bedding. I got 30cm deep bedding under a 32cm wheel. The bedding over the rest of the home is 35cm deep! It’s easy to build, the doors are huge so it’s easy to access, and I have every faith that my home will last me a very very long time. It’s a very worthy investment! You really get what you pay for, and the pictures don’t do justice to the quality of this home. Worth every penny!

The most gorgeous hamster house. My daughter’s hamster is now living his best life after starting out in a cage. We have taken time to add to his habitat and keep adding little bits here and there. He is so much more chilled when she gets him out for a little play than he ever was when he lived in the cage. It also looks so beautiful and looks so much nicer in her bedroom than the cage did. 5 stars!
These homes are the most amazing hamster enclosures ever, they are super easy to build, they’re NOT flimsy like other cages, they can fit so many items and loads bedding. You can tell straight away that this has been designed with actual hamster welfare in mind, not just aesthetics. The space is incredible, he has so much room to properly burrow, explore, and behave like a real hamster instead of being stuck in something tiny and restrictive.
It’s also genuinely beautiful. Like… I didn’t expect to be this obsessed with a cage, but here we are. It looks amazing in the room while still being super practical.

Literally took the leap to upgrade our hamsters home from a gage to a Bandaby Home and it’s the best choice I could have made. It’s the perfect size for a nice deep base for them to burrow and on the surface there’s loads of room for toys, wheels, hides and other bits. Steve our hamster absolutely loves it and you could see the difference in him straight away. Such a happy hamster now.
I have had my Bandaby hamster home for a few weeks now and I am so impressed with it. It looks great, is made to a very high quality and built to last. My hamster has loads of room to explore and also deep bedding to tunnel. The door openings on both sides mean easy access to get to everything for things like changing water but also make it easy to interact with my hamster too. They are also super secure! Bandaby as a company are so helpful too. Happy hamster, happy owner!
